Wystawi.ai: Reducing the time to issue e‑Prescriptions on mobile devices by 70%

In 2024, more than 97% of prescriptions in Poland were issued electronically. Each e-prescription required a process that, on average, consisted of 14 steps - most of which involved entering or sending authorization data. The challenge: high complexity of connecting to the National Health System

Since 2020, physicians in Poland have been able to issue electronic prescriptions instead of paper ones. The core of this process is the national digital platform - Centrum e‑Zdrowia and eGabinet, a digital clinical interface where e‑prescriptions can be issued. Because of strict medical data‑security requirements, the system requires regular authentication through banking systems or national services such as ZUS.
